haven't really been updating much since summer began. haha i've been too busy to draw or post anything mildly interesting. i did go to TCAF though and it was UHHMAZING. really hope Paul Pope comes back next year. :> the huge Battling Boy 2panel spread in the TCAF newspaper is pasted on my door. I HAVE TWO MORE COPIES and I WILL FIND PLACES TO PUT THEM. >:I
working on this now. wanted to have it finished by tonight buuuuuuuuut that's not going to happen. :'D
i thought it would go nicely with the two other pieces. ; u ; Tomtom is such a pudgeface. HE LOOKS LIKE AN ALIEN HERE so i redrew his eyes.

i don't really like them that much (firepig doesn't even look like a fire type??). the water one is my favourite out of the three, but IT'S GOT NOTHIN ON SQUIRTLE AND TOTODILE.
haha if the starters looked like this, i would be forever happy.

I honestly don't understand how you can make it look them cohesive when you haven't done them together, simultaneously.

haha if you're like me, and always draw in the same stupid style and use the same colours always, it's not tootoo hard to make them look like they belong together. ; c ;)/
ReplyDeletei was lucky though because i did the sketch for this kid almost right after i did the one for Hot Mess? so the idea/characters/whatever were still fressshhhh to me, and unboring haha~ otherwise i wouldn't have had the urge to make another as part of a series.
series are really hard to do!!! *____________* i don't even know how people manage to do 3+ more pieces for a single theme.
i remember your pieces for Illus4 class though, when we had to do two pieces or two pages for one thing? they looked pretty cohesive to me!!
