my secret santee this year was IUUUUUUULES!
classes ended really early this year, so i had more time to work on the handmade part of her present! i made a (fully functional!!) paper doll of her and some of her Lolita outfits. with a bit of maneuvering, the clothes and accessories can actually fit onto the doll! haha it was pretty exciting the first time i tried it out! they don't fit as nicely as i would have liked ( i didn't make enough tabs, and the placement of the tabs themselves don't really allow for the pieces to sit securely on the doll :c ) BUT THAT'S OKAY BECAUSE IT'S MY FIRST ONE AND THINGS CAN ONLY GET BETTER FROM HERE, RIGHT?
i'm pretty proud of it, and i think i'm going to make a few for my own characters too! MAYBE SELL EM? (pre-cut/not)

printed out some DCS stuff to make stickers. i didn't realize how small they were... the one in the middle is barely even the size of my hand. took me a good 20 minutes to cut it. :I NEED TO RESIZE. the little mouths are also really tiny, so i don't think they're worth selling. MAYBE YOU'LL SEE THEM SOMEWHERE IN THE CITY? i'll stick them on things within the next week. is that vandalism??

some doodles from lecture last week! the style is supersuper influenced and inspired by yesmugre & missalopetta, who both draw and paint the most adorable characters. i'm particularly enamoured with how they both draw such lovely eyes and noses.

found this interview with Aya Takano and hnnnnnngg i absolutely adore her. everything she says about science fiction and space.. i want to be inspired like that. i can't even imagine how great it would be to see her UFO/Jupiter ceiling piece irl. the only book i have of hers is Space Ship EE ( which you can read here! ), but i need more!!! >:O Hot Banana Fudge especially!!

i did another walkcycle of Franzbaby but with a background/middeground/foreground/Franz2 for this week's assignment, but it's nearly 600MB and i can't upload it anywhere. that's what i get for ignoring outlines and scanning everything in at 300DPI. :m
